Tim Coles is a postdoctoral researcher at Plymouth University’s Cognition Institute in the UK and has researched blindness and visual impairment for the Thomas Pocklington Trust. His doctoral thesis The Knotweed Factor can be read online.

Coles has also written about politics and human rights for a number of publications, including Newsweek and The London Economic. He is the author of several books, including Voices for Peace and Privatized Planet.
